Uta Zetek has been working as a research assistant for the nexus Institute since 2018. She studied Natural Resource Management at Humboldt University in Berlin and Water Management at Cranfield University in the UK. Her core competencies are qualitative social science research on sustainable development. At nexus, she is primarily concerned with the question of how social groups can actively participate in the socio-ecological transformation and what preconditions are necessary for this.
In various projects (participation process for the Berlin Energy and Climate Protection Programme, environmental policy in dialogue, citizens’ council, climate adaptation concept for the district of Ostallgäu and the independent city of Kaufbeuren, sustainable urban logistics in the Philippines), she has gained experience in the conception, monitoring, moderation and evaluation of workshops and participation methods both internationally and nationally.
