On November 26th, 2020 nexus took part in an expert roundtable on “Policies for a just and sustainable socioecological transformation in Africa” which was organized by the Rabat office of the Heinrich Böll Foundation as part of their closing event of their multi-annual transformAfrica Program.

Bringing together scientists, decision-makers and representant of civil society organizations from Tunisia, Morocco and Senegal, the aim of this online roundtable was to discuss the perspectives and recommendations for policies that promote social and ecological transformation in Africa.

This panel was the occasion for nexus to present and discuss the main results of a memorandum on just, participative and sustainable socio-ecological transformation that was commissioned by the Rabat office of the Heinrich Böll Fondation earlier this year.
