The Participatory Evaluation of Physical Activity and Physical Activity Promotion (PEBB) evaluates eight model projects on physical activity promotion selected by the Federal Ministry of Health. The projects themselves test forms of physical activity promotion that are related to settings and/or target groups in a wide variety of formats. nexus carries out the accompanying evaluation. The participatory approach aims to achieve experience-rich, practical, and targeted recommendations for action through the active participation of the evaluated individuals.

For the evaluation, a catalogue of indicators will be scientifically determined and revised during the course of the project using suitable survey instruments. All survey instruments will be adapted to the variety of approaches to the promotion of physical activity. The aim is to gain information about the effectiveness of the projects and to condense this into recommendations for action for specific target groups in a concluding workshop.
